E-learning for English School
Virtual-IT developed e-Learning software for The English School with three tools that have major possibilities in terms of students and teachers working and sharing knowledge on-line. These tools are the Exchanger, Student and Teacher.
Exchanger is a development environment for students, to be used as a virtual workshop both from home and within the class or classes. Students will have project development assignments and exchanger will allow them to build simple or complex projects on-line. Purpose of this workshop is to use the on-line environment to develop and test objects to be used for a technology or computer science class with multiple recipients. Communication between participants on exchanger can be achieved through a chat screen and also by voice.
Teacher tool is used from the teacher in order to create a virtual class, give access to the students that he/she wants to participate in the virtual classroom, and upload a learning material for its on-line class. Teacher will be able to see the participants in its class, and also ask them questions to see if their watching the lesson.
Student tool is an on-line class. Students will be able to either work from home, within the school as well as remotely, even wirelessly around or away from the school. Purpose of this tool is to use the on-line environment to participate in a session that a teacher has already created. The learning material will appear at the presentation area and the student will have the opportunity to hear the teacher, ask questions and answer questions.
